12/28/2022 0 Comments Story of seasons or rune factory 4Playing this game on a console without a touch screen shows a lot of cracks that have been patched. By far the worst victim of the transition is the menus. 2D character portraits at least look relatively sharp, which is a good sign. The polygon things have been given a little makeover but still look a bit clunky and messy. This game was originally made for the 3DS, so obviously the graphics are not top-notch. The gameplay of the farm game will be very familiar to those who have played sim farming before. It brings together all the best elements of previous titles into a single package and shines for it, it’s a shame it fell flat due to the lack of effort that seems to have gone into the transition. Rune Factory 4: Special Probably the most subtle thing the series has to offer. That doesn’t mean the gameplay isn’t good. If you’re under the impression so far that there’s nothing too special about the game, you’re right. You unlock more as you go on, but for the most part, you’re dealing with very basic fantasy spells that are often themed around different elements. Most of the stuff you learn from the start is that it’s extremely hard to beat enemies, and that makes the fighting feel a bit repetitive, at least for the first few hours of the game. As you use specific gear more, you’ll unlock special attacks, but these attacks will vary in how useful they are. Specifically, you start with a very basic combat system, simple dashes with swords or axes. Just like the JRPG, you unlock new skills and spells as you spend more time adventuring. Battles feel a bit basic and repetitive at times. As with any game that includes dungeon crawling, you also have a combat system and that also comes with its own unique progression system. You have to find materials in dungeons to make better gear, and this is the main way your character progresses, although it’s not the only way. Instead of paying others to upgrade your tools, much of the game is spent crafting and upgrading your gear for yourself. It’s in upgrading your tools Rune Factory 4: Special get its unique selling point. You start with a small area of the farm to work on, eventually clearing out the rest of the area once you upgrade your tools. You plow small squares of fields on a grid farm, water them daily, and sell crops after they grow for a profit. Farming works pretty much the way it always does. You have an energy bar that limits the number of quests you can do, and you have to split your time tending to your farm, talking to villagers, and exploring the countless dungeons in the world. How to play Rune Factory 4: Special will be quite familiar to those who have played the farm sim before. The character portrait is probably the best part of the whole game. As well as running a farm and interacting with the townspeople, you must craft armor and other equipment to use in your fantasy dungeon crawling adventures. It puts the player in charge of a character’s life in a fantasy world. It is a specially enhanced version of the original Rune Factory 4, released in 2012 for Nintendo’s 3DS handheld. Rune Factory 4: Special is a farming/life simulation RPG developed by Neverland and published by Xseed Games. Rune Factory 4: Special is the latest re-release of the 4th game in Story of Seasons fantasy franchise, but will it survive the move from the 3DS to a bunch of modern 4K-capable hardware? There’s really only one way to find out. These days, you can’t move because of them, even if the originator of the genre has split into various franchises. Of course, if you have a brain hemorrhage, you can start playing Farmville. If you want to grow virtual corn, you can basically just switch to planting Harvest Moon.
